The orchestra has performed with a varied selection of soloists including:

• Tristan Gurney of the Edinburgh Quartet - Beethoven Violin Concerto in D, March 2011.

• Justine Watts, former co-leader of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) and current leader of the Scottish Ballet Orchestra - Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, December 2007.

• Tristan Gurney and Mark Bailey of the Edinburgh Quartet - Brahms Double Concerto, December 2008.

• Maria Kozlova - Strauss Four Last Songs, March 2010 - was a member of the chorus at Glyndebourne during the 2010 season.

• Gillian Rycroft, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

• Bede Williams, Alba Brass Quintet.

• Associate Dancers of Scottish Ballet - in December 2009 the orchestra and the young dancers from Scottish Ballet participated in a sell-out joint concert featuring excerpts from Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Coppelia and The Shostakovich Ballet Suite.
